On Friday, September 22, we passed our rough framing inspection which allowed us to start with the process of filling the walls with the straw bales. The crew spent the week fine-tuning their techniques to get ready for a fantastic event.
This past weekend we had a wall-raising party and made tremendous progress. We had friends, friends of friends, lots of kids and some great new people we’ve never met before come give us a big helping hand, share some food, drink, learning and fun.
The outcome was amazing with everyone working hard and having fun. The walls just kept on growing all day Saturday and Sunday !
