I am researching ways to get our home LEED (federal) and Earth Advantage (state) certified. Having these certifications would qualify us for tax breaks -- property and/or income.
Our home will qualify for these certifications because the home is designed to be super-efficient, and we will use straw from neighboring Klamath County, FSC certified lumber, efficient FSC certified wood windows. More details to follow as I learn more.
