Went to Jackson County planning this afternoon and got the approved plans. Jenna, the county fire inspector, came out yesterday and approved (conditionally) our site for building. It meets the current fire codes with 100 foot fuel break (brush and low tree limbs trimmed).
Total bill for building, electrical and plumbing permits was just over $2700.
This event is way too exciting to put into words.
